Delivering Impactful Systematic Review Training Programs: Insights from Our Evaluation of Challenges, Successes, and Future Directions
Live online event
Join us for an engaging webinar as we delve into an evaluation of the African Community for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis (ACSRM) training programs. Since our inception in 2022, ACSRM has been dedicated to building capacity in evidence synthesis across Low-and Middle-income countries, especially in the African continent. In this session, we will share key insights from our evaluation, highlighting the challenges faced, successes achieved, and future directions for our programs.
We will begin with the findings of our systematic review and meta-analysis needs assessment conducted in 2022. We will then present an overview of our evaluation process, including the methodologies and tools used to assess the impact of our training programs. Participants will learn about common challenges encountered in organising and delivering these programs, such as resource constraints, participant engagement, and curriculum customisation.
Additionally, we will celebrate our successes, showcasing positive outcomes and participant testimonials that reflect the transformative impact of our training efforts. Looking ahead, we will outline strategic improvements and new initiatives aimed at enhancing our capacity-building activities.
This webinar will feature a dynamic panel discussion with experts who will provide their insights on the evaluation findings and share best practices in capacity building. Interactive polls and a Q&A session will offer participants the opportunity to engage actively and share their experiences.
This is an opportunity to gain valuable insights and contribute to the conversation on advancing evidence synthesis training in Africa.
