Ariel Hardy HOUESSOU (Msc) is an agronomist with over 10 years of experience in development policies in West Africa, particularly in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), gender integration in the PPBS (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Monitoring) cycle within the areas of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), agriculture, and support for local governance. He has also demonstrated expertise in capacity building across various themes, including results-based management, gender analysis, and sustainable development analysis tools.
Dr Amadou Gueye is an environmentalist, water and sanitation expert and researcher passionate about knowledge generation and use for development. Since 2022, Dr GUEYE is a Senior Researcher and Programme Coordinator at IPAR and co-coordinator of the regional excellence centre Evidence-Policy-Action. He also coordinated the West African Sanitation Policy & Activators project (WASPA), which aimed to build and maintain policy leadership for safe sanitation management based on African Sanitation Policy Guidelines (ASPG) in 5 francophone West African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal) through advocacy supported by research evidence.
