In this blog post, the director and co-chair of the Africa Evidence Network(AEN), Siziwe Ngcwabe, offers her insights from the 7th annual Evidence to Action Conference held in Ghana, which was co-hosted by the International Centre for Evaluation and Development (ICED). She mentions that the conference made important contacts between researchers, professionals, policy and decision-makers, and other stakeholders possible. Siziwe outlined several essential lessons from the event, including the necessity of being inclusive when making evidence-based decisions and the importance of increasing and prioritising stakeholder management, participation, collaboration, and raising awareness across sectors.
